Baron UG

Owere Philip, known professionally as Baron UG, is a multifaceted artist and entrepreneur. A singer, songwriter, and talent manager, he excels across various musical genres. He is also the founder and driving force behind Baron UG Music Management.

Hailing from Tororo district in Eastern Uganda, Baron UG's journey in music began during his high school years. He officially entered the Ugandan music industry, quickly making his mark. His songwriting prowess is evident in numerous hit songs, including "Yaka" by Karole Kasita, "Hannah" by Pallaso featuring Chameleon and Lucky Costa, and the mega dance hit "Mega Dance" by T.I.B from Kenya. He has also penned tracks for prominent artists such as Lydia Jazmine, Gravity, Violah Nakitende, SK Twenti, and Nalubega Irene.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, Baron UG holds a Bachelor's degree in Hardware and Networking Engineering from Makerere University. He is an active member of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), where he serves on the committee board as a Mobilizer and Assistant Administrator.
