Barbara Wamala

Barbara Wamala is a talented singer-songwriter whose musical journey began at a young age. Inspired by her father, who taught her hymns and encouraged her to perform, Barbara developed a passion for singing. She has since released two successful albums, "Baagala aliwo" and "Omukwano," which garnered significant radio play on stations like Radio Simba and Akaboozi. Barbara's gospel songwriting prowess is evident in her work, with several of her compositions, including "Lwaaki Tomusinza," recorded by her sister Fiona. Beyond her solo career, Barbara has shared the stage with her father, performed live in London with the Galaxy band and Africa Jambo, and has also penned hit songs for emerging artists in Uganda.
