Atlas Da African

Born in Africa, Prince Eddie Atlas Igumira's family fled Uganda due to war. Growing up, he found inspiration in the golden age of Hip Hop, absorbing the styles of legends like Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Public Enemy.

By ten, he was crafting lyrics, and by twelve, under the alias ATLAS, he was opening for titans like Will Smith and Run DMC with a group of friends. His talent was further recognized when he won a nationwide freestyle competition, earning him a spot to open for Fabolous and an appearance on Much Music television.

More recently, Jay-Z himself acknowledged Prince Igumira during Caribana weekend in Toronto. Prince Igumira now resides back in his homeland, Uganda, where he leads Igumira Enterprises, Team Atlas Sports, and Swagg Studios. He is also the author of "From Pauper To Prince," a book and upcoming film based on his remarkable life story.
