About

Timothy Odongo, professionally known as Askia Tim Tim The Great, is a born-again Christian artist born on December 31, 1996, in Bala Subcounty, Kole District, Northern Uganda.

Askia pursued his primary education at Aduku Primary School and Amuca SDA before continuing his studies at Aduku Secondary School and Light Vocational Senior Secondary School, where he earned his advanced certificate (HAC/A'level). He later obtained a Diploma in Education Secondary (DES) from Kyambogo University in Kampala, Uganda.

Askia Tim Tim’s musical journey began in 2009 as a church choir member. His talent was quickly recognized, leading him to win the Best Voice Artist award in the 2014 Coca-Cola Rated Next Talent Showcase. He also emerged victorious in the talent showcase during his high school years at Aduku Secondary School.

He made his professional studio debut in 2012 with the song "Dilemma," produced by Junior Miles at Hope Studio. The track quickly gained significant airplay and went viral on social media platforms. Following this success, he released "Sign Of End Time" in 2017, produced by Zumbe Adyeri, which became a prominent gospel anthem that year. Askia has since released numerous hit songs, including "Ameny Amenya," "Dance," "Tungwa Abeer Tye Malo," "Final Judgement," and "Mighty King."

His latest release, "Cold War (War of Words)," addresses the theme of unfaithful partners returning after the artist achieves success, highlighted by the lyric: "you say you can't fall in love with me cuz I'm not your class." The song is currently receiving extensive radio recognition across Uganda.
