Ashipro Ug

Ssegawa Ashiraf, known professionally as Ashipro Ug, is a Ugandan recording artist and accomplished dancer based in the Makindye area. His journey began in Kayunga, Bugerere, and his passion for performance led him to the streets of Kampala after facing educational challenges.

Ashipro honed his skills with various dance troupes, including Dream Talent, Tendo Group, and Athena Network Uganda, before finding his artistic home with the renowned Maanyi Clan Africa. It was with Athena Group that he released his debut single, "Tebasoboka." His music career gained significant momentum with subsequent releases like "Maama," "Djembe Dance," and "Kasimati." His breakthrough hit, "Bujja," produced by Chosen K and Chemical Beats under Moneyworks Management, opened doors to further opportunities and performances at events like the Mutesa Pro Festival and Total Festival.

Beyond his music, Ashipro has also achieved recognition as a dancer, collecting numerous accolades, including prizes from the Dance Off competition.
