Ash omuwomu

Ash Omuwomu began his musical journey in 2004 while in his O-level studies at Pearl High School. During this time, he collaborated with a friend named Chosen Blood, rehearsing vocals at "the hillz" in Makindye. This collaboration continued until 2009 when Chosen Blood went to campus. Ash remained dedicated to music, though he had not yet recorded any songs.

Despite his mother's encouragement to focus on his education, Ash persisted with his musical aspirations. In 2011, he met Gen Mega Dee, who discovered him performing live at A.Y24.7 Makindye. Impressed by his voice, Mega Dee invited Ash to his studio, Afanda Records. Although Ash did not record a song at that time, he began working with Mega Dee as a backup artist for live shows, joining a team of 15 boys known as "The Last Batlon."

In 2012, Ash recorded his first audio song, "Naganza Wakyejo," a ragga track produced by Dr. Pinan at Afanda Records. This marked a significant step in his career. In 2013, he met producer Didi, who had produced numerous hits. Mega Dee had by then moved to the USA. Didi recognized Ash's unique voice and potential, and began recording new songs with him. Their collaboration produced "What About You" and later "Tight Like Virgin," which gained Ash significant online recognition.

Tragically, in September 2014, producer Didi was incarcerated. Undeterred, Ash continued to pursue his music career, remaining focused on reaching the top. His music is available on media platforms, including Facebook, under the name Ash Omuwomu Bonfaya.
