Amo

Amo is a gospel artist, writer, and actor born in August 1991 to Ugandan parents. Raised in a musical household—with a father who served as a church choir master and a mother who was a band and choir member—Amo began his creative journey in Sunday school. During his higher education, he demonstrated early leadership as the chairperson of the Interact Club and as the leader of a dance crew.

In 2014, Amo studied music production at SoundFactory Recordz, where he served as the studio manager until December 2017. He subsequently launched his recording career with his debut single, "Jesus Love," followed by tracks such as "Never Let Him Down." A versatile multilingual performer, Amo speaks and sings in Swahili, English, Ateso, and Luganda. His work is driven by a profound passion for music and his devotion to his faith.
