Aminah Rahman

Aminah Rahman is a Spanish singer-songwriter born in Kampala, Uganda, and based in Menorca since 2010. The daughter of soul singer Zayna Abbas, Rahman began her professional career in 2016 as a vocalist for the Maó Jazz Band, where she gained extensive experience performing at live jazz events. Her musical style is a versatile blend of folk, jazz, and soul, integrated with electronic and modern pop influences.

Rahman’s debut solo album, *Endlessly Emotions*, showcases her evocative songwriting and unique vocal range. A centerpiece of her repertoire is the powerful single "Dear African Girl," which features a chorus in her native Luganda. The song serves as an anthem of self-acceptance and empowerment, urging Black women to embrace their heritage and natural beauty. Through her music, Rahman celebrates the strength and intelligence of women, promoting a message of peace, resilience, and self-love.
