Born Byaruhanga Asuman Amani on December 25, 1991, in Kabale, Uganda, the artist professionally known as Amani Amaniga began his musical journey as a karaoke performer in 2004. He rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of his viral debut single, "Omukiga womuniga," which established him as a significant voice in the Kigezi region and beyond.
Since his debut, Amani has released a series of successful singles, including "Ne Must," "Kemerwa," "Kyahwire," and "Guma." His work has earned him numerous accolades, such as Artist of the Year at the Kigezi Music and Media Awards (KIMMA) in 2014 and 2015, and Best Western Rapper at the 2016 UG Hip Hop Awards.
