AKIE Y is a multi-talented Ugandan singer and songwriter from the Tooro sub-region of the Kyegegwa District. Born on September 10, 2005, to Annet Kyohairwe and the late Moses Monday, he discovered his passion for music at a young age. While versatile across various genres, AKIE Y primarily focuses on hip-hop and cites Gravity Omutujju as a major inspiration. He first gained recognition through his debut collaboration with Trust Master, titled "Bwetulumba," a project that established him as a promising talent in the music industry.
