AK47, often hailed as the King of East African dancehall, is renowned for his potent lyrical delivery. He is signed to Leone Island Music Empire and also serves as the CEO of Bullet Proof Entertainment.

AK47 began his career as a music producer before transitioning into singing. His debut single, "Usiende," and a subsequent feature on the "Bayuda Remix" quickly helped establish his presence in the industry and garnered a significant fanbase. Between 2010 and 2011, he released numerous hits, including "Mbeera," "Yansi," "Ndowoozako," "Nze Akwagala," and "Gunsinze." In early 2012, AK47 released "Movie Star," featuring Dr. Jose Chameleone and Atlas da African, followed by other popular singles such as "Champion," "Better Dance," "One of a Kind," and "Yoono."
