Abigail and Alvan

Abigail and Alvan are a prominent East African gospel duo recognized for their significant impact on the gospel music industry. Winners of the VIGA Music Award in the kids' category, the duo has also been nominated for the Maranatha Global Worship Awards in Nairobi.

Alvan Jeriel Lakor, born April 8, 2009, is an accomplished singer, rapper, and pianist. Currently a 5th-grade home-schooled student, Alvan began playing the piano at age two and is widely regarded as one of Africa’s top young pianists. He draws musical inspiration from Don Moen, Levixone, and JohnMarie, and aspires to be recognized as the best pianist in the world. Outside of music, he is an active soccer player at Proline Academy.

Joyce Abigail Lakor, born August 11, 2011, is a talented vocalist and rapper who began her career at age three. A 4th-grade home-schooled student, she was a VIGA Music Award nominee in 2018. Inspired by Tasha Cobbs, Abigail is deeply committed to worship music and aims to become a globally recognized worship leader.
