Abiabi Richboii

Abiabi Richboii, also known as Richard A. Matale, is a dancehall and reggae artist from South Sudan, hailed as "The Great One." Born in Juba, he was raised by his mother, the singer Mum Tinyaa. Abiabi's life has been marked by significant challenges, including hardship, illness, and experiences as a child soldier in Northern Uganda.

Relocating to Australia, Abiabi began his music career, describing his sound as a "route to consciousness" and "revolutionary music" that brings hidden realities to light. His lyrics convey information and feelings, aiming to enlighten individuals. Early hits like "Ide Kiza" explored marital issues, followed by successful tracks such as "Oca Marugalu" and "Ndindo." Abiabi aspires to share his enjoyable, educational, and meaningful lyrics globally. He currently resides in Queensland, Australia, embodying kindness, selflessness, forgiveness, and gratitude.

Abiabi's musical style is a vibrant fusion of Central African rumba, ragga, Afro Zouk, and West African influences. He is a dedicated member of a musician's coalition focused on raising awareness and combating HIV/AIDS and other health issues. His artistic mission is to promote peace, joy, love, and unity.

Beyond music, Abiabi Richboii founded a service dedicated to supporting elderly individuals and people with disabilities in South Sudan and Uganda. This initiative provides essential medical aid, food, clothing, and shelter, while also empowering disabled individuals to establish their own businesses. The organization operates on principles of unconditional love and equality, welcoming all to partner in their mission to bring blessings and support to those in need.
