Abaasa

Abaasa Rwemereza, professionally known as THE DRUMMER BOY, is a multi-talented artist, producer, vocalist, and instrumentalist proficient in drums, keys, and guitar. Abaasa developed a holistic approach to music early in life, fostering his love for various instruments and driving his quest to create innovative sounds.

He formalized his skills by earning a Diploma in Audio Engineering from the SAE Institute of Technology, Hollywood Campus, followed by a BA in Audio Production from the SAE Institute, London. This academic foundation provided him with diverse cultural exposure, which he seamlessly incorporates into his musical output.

His formal training immediately launched his production career, starting with his first recorded track, "Tuesday Afternoon," in 2012. This led to his debut mixtape, *RUKUNGIRI*. The project showcased his musical maturity and diverse character, featuring dynamic tracks like "Run Away," "Find Myself," and "Ntegyerize," the latter of which topped the Magic100 Top 20 countdown. *RUKUNGIRI* also featured collaborations with Patrobas, The Mith, and Kael. Abaasa is widely recognized as a futuristic performer dedicated to pushing sonic boundaries.
