Bagonza Alexander, known professionally as A Pass, was born on December 21, 1989, in Kampala, Uganda. He is a singer-songwriter who has achieved significant success in the Reggae and Dancehall music scenes. A highly versatile artist, A Pass performs in four distinct musical genres. He began singing in church as a child in Kampala, where his vocal talents were evident from an early age.
Inspired by the music he heard in his father's car and motivated by his parents, A Pass's passion for music flourished during his high school years. He recorded his first song, "Proud to be Saved," at fourteen and followed up with "Love Is a Beautiful Thing" at nineteen. Since then, he has consistently recorded and archived his music.
A Pass's music has gained considerable popularity with hits such as "WUUYO," "TULI KUBIGERE," "AM LOVING," and "MUMPULIRA," which have dominated Ugandan airwaves and are frequently requested on prominent radio stations like Sanyu FM, Capital FM, and Radio City.
